Weekly Themes & Special Activities

Each week is centered around a specific theme, such as "Crazy Scientist," "Wilderness and Nature," or "Arts and Crafts." The activities for that week are then designed to align with the theme, giving campers the chance to explore and engage with a range of topics and skills.

Campers will be treated to weekly special guest visits, see below!

Literacy with Therapy Dogs

Campers will have the opportunity to read with therapy dogs twice a week during our morning literacy sessions (optional).

Reading to therapy dogs is an excellent way for campers to improve their literacy skills while also gaining emotional support from their furry companions. Therapy dogs are specially trained to be gentle, calm, and patient, making them perfect reading partners for children who may struggle with reading aloud in front of others. The presence of the therapy dogs can help reduce anxiety and create a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere where children can practice their reading skills.

In addition to improving literacy, reading to therapy dogs can also help campers develop empathy, responsibility, and respect for animals.

About our program

1

Literacy Activities

Our unique summer camp  offers the opportunity for children to engage in fun and educational literacy activities. These literacy activities are designed to

help each child improve their vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills while enjoying the summer camp experience. The lessons, which are created by experienced teachers,  involve various games like word scavenger hunts, sentence building games, or even literary-themed escape rooms to engage children in different ways. All activities will be tailored to the age and skill level of the child and will help prepare them for the upcoming school year.

Math Activities

Our unique summer camp also offers the opportunity for students to develop their math skills in fun and interactive ways.  These activities created by teachers will range from simple addition and subtraction drills to more complex problem-solving activities through games like Bingo, math Jeopardy, relay races, puzzles and much more. By participating in these games, students can improve their mental math abilities, build their confidence in math, and even develop a love for the subject.

Daily Specialized Actvity

Our unique summer camp offers the opportunity for children to explore new interests and learn new skills. We offer a wide variety of activities to keep all children engaged and entertained throughout their day. For children who enjoy the performing arts, dance and movement classes will be incorporated in the schedule, allowing campers to learn new moves through fun Zumba classes. Another option we offer weekly are science experiments which provide hands-on learning opportunities for children interested in STEM subjects. In addition to individual activities, team building activities will also be played. These activities help campers develop important social skills such as communication, leadership, and cooperation. Whether it's working together to complete an obstacle course or participating in a group challenge, team building activities help build strong bonds among campers and create a sense of camaraderie. Unique summer camp offers a wide range of activities that cater to different interests and skills, allowing for an enriching and memorable experience for all.
